Link Small Chain Bracelet

Bracelet in brass with palladium coating, with a single large oval link entirely encased in silver laminated calfskin leather. The laminated finish gives the leather a metallic, silver-toned sheen that echoes the exposed brass links on either side. Inspired by the house's bonded chain from 2001, the metal is covered as if shrink-wrapped. Closes with a T-bar toggle. Each piece varies slightly due to the handcrafted process. Found objects: Since our foundation, we have questioned conventional ideas of materiality through the use of found objects. Everyday items are removed from their original context and transformed through handcraft, taking on new forms while retaining traces of their original identity.
