Chandelier Pendant Earrings

Asymmetric drop earrings in brass with polished palladium coating. One earring features a faceted octagonal stud, two graduating faceted octagonal links suspended in sequence, and a large smooth teardrop pendant. The other earring pairs the same stud and a single faceted octagonal link with an elongated faceted crystal-spear pendant. Made using electroforming, a process that builds a lightweight yet strong metal shell. Post fastening. Found objects: Since our foundation, we have questioned conventional ideas of materiality through the use of found objects. Everyday items are removed from their original context and transformed through handcraft, taking on new forms while retaining traces of their original identity.
